Indiana Jones returned to movie theaters this past summer in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Leading up to the film’s release, Disney’s costume team put out a call to collectors in the hopes of finding the 1981 safari-style cotton shirt that Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford wore in the first film of the series, Raiders of the Lost Ark, according to the Daily Mail.

Someone in the United Kingdom had the shirt in their possession—and now, this individual is poised to profit from it. The Daily Mail reported that the current owner did loan the shirt to Disney so it could be used to create a replica for the latest Indiana Jones fill, but the owner planned to auction it afterward.

Initially, the shirt was found at a charity shop by someone who recognized it from Raiders of the Lost Ark. This shirt has changed hands a few times following the discovery at the charity shop, the Daily Mail pointed out. And when Disney was notified about the shirt for Dial of Destiny, there were concerns about its authenticity.

Forensic analysis was used to determine if the shirt had been worn by Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark—despite the fact that Ford’s name was on the shirt’s label. Like the original shirt, the one provided to Disney had pockets that did not line up (one pocket was higher than the other). Also, the shirt had hand-stitched pleated tapes that ran down the front that matched the original shirt. It was ultimately concluded that this shirt was a match for the 1981 original shirt.

The shirt’s current owner put the item up for auction on eBay, hoping it would sell for £300,000 (approximately $366,690).
