This is a chronological arts-and-collecting calendar spanning late September through November 1. It combines exhibitions, auction houses, estate sales, antique dealers, collectors, fairs, flea markets, and educational programs. Auctions dominate, though some listings are multiweek exhibitions or recurring markets. Daily counts range from six to 24, peaking October 17 and 24. The Northeast dominates, with some California, Florida, Georgia, and international offerings.

The calendar opens September 28: The Lockwood Mathews Mansion Museum’s “Revolutionary Roots,” James Cox Gallery’s “Garlock,” iGavel’s Asian art and jewelry auction, Neue’s online sale, Nathan’s Southern Vermont artists’ collection, plus Fairfield’s Egypt and James Welling exhibitions. September 29 adds Sterling’s antique-estate sale and iGavel’s Imperial Japan and Samurai auction. September 30 features Litchfield’s modern art and design sale and Eldred’s netsuke auction.

Early October broadens the mix. October 1 features Americana and auctions; October 2 adds Connecticut artists, furnishings, books, and gallery auctions. October 3 covers firearms, advertising, the Big Flea, and Brimfield North. October 4 features a single-owner estate auction, Alameda Point Antiques Faire, Elephant’s Trunk Flea Market, and Morphy’s automobilia and petroliana sale. October 5 repeats Berkshire Botanical Garden, Fairfield University Art Museum, and Florence Griswold Museum programs, plus iGavel and The Auction Barn.

After a light October 6, October 7 features online early American glass, jewelry, and fine art auctions. October 8 brings Scott Antique Markets, a single-owner fashion archive, and a fine art and design sale. October 9 focuses on advertising collectibles. October 10 is a major antiques weekend, including the Fall Fox Valley show, bicycles and automobilia, the New Jersey Big Flea, Stormville Airport’s flea market, and an outdoor arts festival. October 11 adds estate auctions; October 12 returns to museum exhibitions and online antique, glass, jewelry, and fine-art sales.

Mid-October expands into transportation, coins, military objects, Americana, sporting goods, Old Master paintings, European silver, furniture, and photography. October 16–17 adds estate sales, realistic wood carvings, advertising and coin-op material, antique toys, decoys, art glass, and the Ridgefield Fall Arts Fest. October 18 is led by primitive, country, and diverse antiques. October 19 repeats museum programs and adds Americana, fine art, books, glass, and live auctions. A Picasso ceramics, prints, and multiples sale anchors October 20, followed October 21–23 by private collections, jewelry, watches, fire memorabilia, vehicles, firearms, taxidermy, and seascape paintings.

October 24 is the busiest date: 24 events spanning Chinese, Shaker, and Americana goods, sporting equipment, estates, fine art, firearms, stoneware, and military material. October 25 adds a Cape Cod antiques show, a doll and toy show, and Elephant’s Trunk. The final week repeats museum programs and offers Americana, jewelry, design, books, realistic carvings, watches, magic and occult objects, modern design, fine art, and autumn estates. Heritage, Shannon’s, A.B. Levy’s, and Leone’s are among the closing highlights. November 1 opens with Elephant’s Trunk’s weekly flea market, a haunted-estates auction, and a fall fine art and antiques sale. Overall, the calendar presents a dense, Northeast-focused season centered on estate auctions, specialist collections, museum programs, and recurring antiques and flea markets.
