Whenever I hit up a local thrift store or estate sale, I’m always left wondering what my own possessions might be worth. Of course, we all have our family heirlooms and treasures that have some kind of value to us, even if it’s just sentimental. But what about all the little things that fill our homes? What about the knickknack you bought on a whim or the clutter you picked up so long ago that you can’t even remember where it came from?
Even if the item doesn’t seem special at first glance (like your old vacuum cleaner, perhaps), it can still have a surprising value! This is where the WorthPoint mobile app can really shine.
That’s the challenge I took on for this week’s at-home edition of This Week in Thrifting. And in the process, I discovered that my cozy reading corner contains a lot more than just ambiance.
Here’s a hint: Ashtrays might be out of place in today’s restaurants, but they might be the perfect piece of inventory for your booth or online store!
Whether you’re doing a search on paper collectibles, fast food memorabilia, or your favorite coffee mug, the WorthPoint app has something to tell you! Check out the full episode to see what some of my favorite knickknacks are worth. And to get started on your own at-home odyssey, download the WorthPoint app and start snapping.
You might be surprised to discover just how much your décor and clutter is worth! You might even be tempted to give up thrifting altogether so you can focus your efforts on discovering fabulous finds that are right under your nose at home.
