Victorian Valentine’s Day cards will set hearts fluttering – Antique Collecting

A small collection of Victorian Valentine’s Day cards could get hearts fluttering in an upcoming sale in West Sussex, taking place just after the year’s most romantic day.

John Nicholson’s of Fernhurst is offering the collection, which includes one example with an envelope dated 1856, in its Antiquarian and Secondhand Books sale on February 18.
