Olympic memorabilia is returning to the forefront—now is the time to take advantage.

This summer, sports fanatics prepare for the return of the ultimate athletic spectacle: the Olympic Games. And, if you’re a reseller who’s been stocking up on Olympic memorabilia or a devoted collector thinking about downsizing, this is the season to take advantage of the world’s renewed athletic interests.

Olympic memorabilia is returning to the forefront of the resale market, which made me curious about which items are selling well as viewers prepare to tune in for all the big moments. Hence, our latest special edition of This Week in Thrifting, where we dive into the WorthPoint Price Guide to see which Olympic items have recently resold and find out what they might be worth. Here are some of our top finds:

Olympic Pins: Olympic pins, usually created by sponsors of the Games as well as various media outlets, are an inexpensive but stylish way to get into the world of Olympic memorabilia. These pins have all kinds of designs and colors, and they don’t cost nearly as much as some of the big-ticket collectibles (more about those below).

Olympic Apparel: I love looking into the world of Olympic apparel because it actually dips into two different categories: athletic collectibles and vintage fashion. Sports fans and Levi’s enthusiasts alike might wish to pursue a vintage Levi’s Olympic T-shirt from the 1980s or even an official USA tracksuit from the same label.

The Heavy Hitters: Of course, certain Olympic collectibles will require a bit more financial investment than a T-shirt or pin. Items like genuine Olympic torches or gear and uniforms worn by athletes during certain famous Games can resell for thousands of dollars.
