After her mother passed away, Terrill found herself cleaning out the family home and selling items, which sparked her interest in reselling. She saw it as a flexible career option that she could scale up over time. What she initially planned to do part-time quickly became a full-time endeavor, and she never looked back.
Terrill’s ability to pivot, honed during her acting career, proved invaluable in reselling. She started by selling VHS tapes of older movies and gradually expanded to other categories like fitness gear, memorabilia, and clothing. Her success caught the attention of eBay management, who invited her to participate in eBay Radio and other educational events for sellers. This led to her creating her own YouTube channel, where she shares tips on maximizing profits, managing inventory, and succeeding in reselling.
When asked for advice for new eBay sellers, Terrill emphasized the importance of avoiding comparisons with other sellers. She encouraged newcomers to focus on their own progress and not to overthink the process.
